Lefortovo (Golovinsky) Park is Moscow's historical and natural monument that is connected to the Catherine Palace in Lefortovo. Was built in 1703. The park has a linden alley, arbor-rotunda, five ponds, benches, and a Rastrelli's grotto. Starting from 2005 Lefortovo park is a part of the Moscow State Integrated Art and Historical, Architectural and Natural Landscape Museum-Reserve.
Goncharovskiy park
In September 2013 the renovated park has been opened after reconstruction. Now it has a new lighting system, green area, four children's playgrounds, bike paths, fitness and dance floor, a stage for holidays, and a cafe. The main attraction for the visitors is the squirrel house. A renewed street furniture and free WI-FI make the park comfortable not only for recreation but also for work. There is a small artificial ice rink. Ice appears at the beginning of winter at the playground site.
Dolina reki Setyn
Setun river valley is the largest nature reserve inside the Moscow city that founded in 2003. A protected area is located along the course of the Setun river. The idea of the creation of the reserve is the preservation of historical, cultural and natural complexes, valuable objects and territories that are the natural habitat of rare species of plants, animals, birds, and insects, to maintain the recreational potential of urban areas, as well as environmental education.
Ekaterininskiy park
Ekaterininsky park is a monument of landscape art. Ekaterininsky Park has an area of 16 hectares. There is a pond of 1.9 hectares that comes from the north-west to the south-east with a small island located in the north-west. There are a summer pavilion and cafe along the shore of the pond. Ekaterininsky park is one of the favorite leisure places and walking areas of the district residents.
Zakaznik Medvedkovskiy
A small forest near the metro station "Medvedkovo" in the North-East district of Moscow with a total area of 21 hectares. The main part of the natural territory is birch with an admixture of aspen. The fauna of the reserve has undergone significant changes in the urban environment, but still, there are about 10 species of small mammals and 35 species of birds registered. Nature reserve "Medvedkovo" is a unique natural complex, which plays a huge role for the people of the North-East of the capital.
Zakaznik Lionozovo
This is a forest park with dense undergrowth. It is crossed with paths and reminds the mysterious labyrinth with the territory of 100 hectares with three ponds. There is a small preserved old-growth oak forest In the north of the park. The age of many oak trees is more than 150 years. The fauna is rich here because of the variety of areas (forest and park areas, dense shrubs and meadows, marshes and ponds) and the availability of shelter for animals.
Izmaylovskiy park
Izmaylovsky park - one of the largest parks in Moscow with many ponds and rich flora. It occupies an area of 1534 hectares. Available types of leisure during the winter are horse-drawn sledge and toboggan, "Ice Silver" ice rink, large ice slides, small ferris wheel, ski base. During the summer, there are 2 amusement parks, big and small ferris wheel, bike rental, horse riding, and boat station.
Kolomenskoe
Kolomenskoye is a former royal residence and ancestral lands, a village in the Moscow region. Now is the State Art and Historical, Architectural and Natural Landscape Museum-Reserve with a variety of archaeological, historical, and natural monuments. It occupies the territory of 390 hectares and is a part of the Moscow State Integrated Museum-Reserve. Since 2011 on the fairgrounds in Kolomenskoye, the largest nationwide fair of honey is held.
Krylatskie Kholme
Krylatskiye kholmy is a landscape park with an area of 175 hectares, the park was given the status of a specially protected natural area of regional significance. The name of the park comes from the former village Krylatskoye which became part of Moscow, as well as from topography. A circular cycle route runs through the park. In winter there are ski slopes. The spring "Rudny Mother of God" that is revered as miraculous is located here. Beside it, in the middle of the park, there is a temple of the Church of Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Krylatskoye.
Krukovskiy Lesopark
There are specially equipped areas for children and relaxation, beach and alcoves on the territory of this forest park. The park has a boat station with boats or catamarans. The park is located in the northwestern part of Zelenograd, 40 kilometers from Moscow. The flora of the park is rich: birch, spruce, pine, aspen, grey alder, lime, oak, and maple can be found. The park has all the conditions to ski, and the lake is a popular recreation area during the summer.
