North river station park is located by the Khimki Reservoir. The building of the Northern river station is located in the park. Four alleys were based on planning. The park covers an area of 40.8 hectares. From time to time the park hosts various public events. Two ice rinks operate during the winter, with artificial and natural ice. Also, several sculptures can be found here.
Serebryaniy bor
Serebryany Bor (Khoroshovsky forest park) is a unique forest in the north-west of Moscow, in the bend of the Moscow River. It is a popular leisure area among Muscovites. Currently, in the territory of Serebryany Bor, comfortable and protected free beaches are located. Along the south-eastern shore, a few rowing bases are built. The park area is very well maintained and landscaped. It is surrounded by a forest with age-old pines.
Sokolniki
Sokolniki is a park in the Sokolniki district in the north-east of Moscow. The park is located on an area of 516 hectares. In the 16th-17th centuries, the grand royal falconry was held on the site of the now existing park, which is where the place got its name. The layout of the park has a radial-ring structure with eight main lanes spreading from the main entrance. There are 13 water reservoirs in the park. There are also many sports facilities, the largest of them is the fitness center "Sokolniki". Velomobiles, bicycles, segways, and various sports equipment are available for rent. Areas for active leisure are available.
Targanskiy park
Today the park is located on two territories which are divided by Taganskaya street. On the main territory, there is a children's cafe, the only fountain in the district, a stage, playground, football field with seats, and a fitness center. A football field is transformed into an ice rink in the winter, one of the largest in the city with an area of 4500 m². The children's area has a small stage, a fairy-tale town, attractions, and playgrounds. The park is decorated with an array of green oak forests with an admixture of linden, maple, and ash.
Usadba Trubeckih
Children's Park "Usadba Trubetskih in Khamovniki" (Mandelstam Park) is a small park in Moscow. The park offers visitors not only outdoor activities but also sightseeing tours to the estate. Here you can visit a zoo, a biological greenhouse, learn how to ride a horse, and take part in various entertaining events, contests, and competitions with a whole family.
Tsaritsino
Tsaritsyno is a palace and park ensemble in the south of Moscow founded by the order of Empress Catherine II in 1776. It is under the "Tsaritsyno" museum-reserve control. Tsaritsyno palace and park ensemble, covering an area of over 100 hectares, is located on a hilly terrain rugged with ravines, on the former estate site. It is a picturesque place with a lot of architectural monuments, rich forest, and several ponds. Tsaritsyno is the most important monument of the so-called "Russian Gothic". Tsaritsyno landscape park was one of the first Russian landscape parks.
Chistie Prudi
The boat station is working on the pond during the summer and an ice rink is operating here during the winter. This is a beautiful and clean lake surrounded by neat lawns, trimmed shrubs, old linden, and chestnut trees. Chistoprudny boulevard located nearby often hosts an outdoor exhibition. The famous "Annushka" tram runs along the pond. There is the Aquarium nearby. Due to the rich cultural heritage, the historic buildings and the proximity to Kremlin, Chistie Prudy area is considered to be one of the most prestigious places in Moscow.
Hermitage
