Over the past 5 years, the Moscow authorities have done a lot to improve the historical center. The facades of the buildings were renewed, the sidewalks were widened, trees were planted, and comfortable benches were places. Chistoprudny boulevard and Kitay-gorod are examples of changes for the better. Walking here is more pleasant and more comfortable than driving. "Gorka" Park and "Yama" amphitheatre are relatively new places of power for teenagers. Also many interesting and unique restaurants and bars on Maroseyka and Pokrovka.
